My interest in the dental field started when I interned for a local endodontist. I saw firsthand how an endodontist was able to treat patients while instantly reducing the patient’s dental disease and pain. This experience immediately sparked a lifelong interest in dentistry, as I wanted to be able to provide the same quality of care for my future patients! After working as an assistant at a dental office that focused on cosmetic makeovers, I was amazed at what a healthy, beautiful smile could do for someone’s confidence. I saw dentistry as a field that could combine both my interests in art and science.
I completed my dental training at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in 2012. I then moved to Boston while my husband completed his own medical training. After five years there, we returned home to raise our family in Maryland. Today, I strongly believe in continuing my education whenever possible through advanced training at world-class institutions such as Spears Education and The Pankey Institute. I am currently a member of the following organizations:
I love to spend my free time away from work with my husband and two sons. It is truly amazing to learn and grow with children over the years, and especially getting to see life through their eyes! I also really enjoy traveling and hanging out with my extended family.
